✨An amazing example of inclusion in rugby communities!

On October 28, 2023, the QPS Toowoomba Spartans and the Royal Australian Signals Corps Rugby Union fought for the Brett Forte Memorial Shield on the rugby fields of the Highfields Redbacks in honor of Senior Constable Brett Forte, who lost his life in the line of duty in 2017. The event was attended by over 1,000 people and was followed by some incredible rugby games, including a showcase from our incredible MRP community.

Thanks to the fantastic support received and the generosity of sponsors and supporters, funds were raised to support Toowoomba Community Supporting Police.
This is an excellent example of rugby, inclusion and community. Let's all champion for inclusion #rugbyisforeveryone

"For me as a parent, it is about having Dalton be involved in community events that recognize and appreciate the service that police and other first responders provide to us. It enables me to have a conversation with both my sons about showing respect to the QPS due to the risks they take for us to live where and how we do, as well as contributing to society through volunteering and donating to worthy causes. Dalton and the other MRP players also get to see the respect that the QPS have for them by enabling and being active in their participation on this day by doing such things as having a guard of honour as they run onto the field and watching and cheering them on."
