What an awesome night! Our MRP community gathered in front of the gates of Suncorp, ready to showcase the extraordinary power of disability inclusion in rugby.
As our community entered the stadium, you could feel the excitement from us and the crowd.
Our MRP Players PlayerMentors (volunteers), and Coaches got ready to form the guard of honour and welcome the Queensland Reds onto the field for their match against the Western Force. The atmosphere in the stadium was electrifying, with fireworks, high fives and cheers echoing throughout; our MRP community, I am sure, was the loudest.
We returned to our seats to watch the first half, and we loved it!
It was then the moment for MRP to take the spotlight and be centre stage, to show the world what we can do!
Our MRP Teams marched out onto the field with pride and excitement and played their finest game of rugby ever; we ran the field, scored some try’s and showcased incredible sportsmanship; we are so proud!
We then watched the Red’s claim victory in the final half. As the game ended, the Red’s players approached our community and devoted time taking photos, signing autographs and warmly embracing our MRP community.
Once again GingerCloud’s MRP showed the world what they could do.
Creating a place where neurodiverse young adults can feel safe and secure, belong, have fun and find success.
